The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

It's hard to believe it's been over 22 years since I first walked into that closet office space in the basement of Whitmore Lab to prepare for my first day as a TA for Chem-15 Lab. I was thrilled when Prof. Jurs told me I could join his research group. When I tell folks about my time at Penn State, I always say that I never worked so hard to get out of a place I loved so much. Today I'm still working for Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati as a Principal Scientist. Our son David (DJ) just graduated from Ohio State (sorry) with a B.A. in Fine Arts specializing in computer animation. My wife Kris is pursuing her passion for Art as well and has sold several pieces through local galleries. We continue to use State College as a stop-over when traveling to see friends and family in Connecticut. We visit campus at every opportunity, and always stop in at The Diner for coffee and Stickies. I'll always have a warm spot in my heart for Penn State. It was the people there who made the place what it was. I remember them and smile.
